Equine Sarcoids are the most frequently recognized neoplasm in horses. A viral etiology is suspected. Evidence also suggests sarcoids are transmissible by direct contact or via arthropod vectors e.g. contaminated brushes and needles. Sarcoids occur in horses, donkeys and mules, most commonly over 4 years of age and occur almost anywhere on the body, although there is a tendency to the penis and limbs. Sarcoids can be highly variable in appearance. The Nosode of Sarcoids works well in conjunction with this topical application.
